Singh Dynasty Shar Pei Kennel

has been breeding Chinese Shar-Pei since 1985.

We have been active in the practice of showing dogs for over 19 years. Before 1992 when the Chinese Shar-Pei was accepted into AKC, the breed was registered as a rare breed with it's own registry "The Chinese Shar-Pei Club of America (CSPCA)". Singh Dynasty finished seven champions CSPCA. Currently, we are working on AKC champion titles.

As a breeder, Singh Dynasty is very involved with the miniature Shar-Pei. This is a Shar-Pei of a wicket height of 17 inches or under measured at the withers after the age of one year. Many of our bred dogs meet this criteria. We have finished eight "National Miniature Shar-Pei Club" champions and have an active officer with that club.

Singh Dynasty's Signature Shar-Pei is well-boned, square in frame, with a large head. We prefer adult body wrinkling, but this look can sometimes be allusive. A solid black tongue, scissor bite, small ears set high and correct center tracking movement are the main ingredients we look for in a show dog.

Singh Dynasty Kennel strives year after year to produce top quality Shar-Pei. We are proud of our proven success in the "show world". In our quest, not all puppies meet the high standards of a top quality show dog. These puppies are considered "pet". At Singh Dynasty, we are proud to educate you on the differences between the two classifications stated above.

Not all people are interested in pursuing the rigors of the "show world". For these people "pet" quality is the ideal choice. In choosing a pet for your family, many things must be taken into consideration from personality to coat type. We will help you to understand the difference in order for you to find the right addition to your family.

The Chinese Shar-Pei are still somewhat of an enigma, but for those of us who have been around them for so long, there is an understanding that has been obtained.
